The first consulting webinar meeting of the scientific cooperation between Tehran and Budapest was held last week. Iran’s ambassador to Budapest, Hungary’ ambassador to Tehran, several Hungarian university presidents, Yazd University president, Yazd Science and Technology Park President, International Deputy of Iran’s Ministry of Energy, Head of the international committee of Hungarian university presidents, and deputy of the Center of International Scientific Cooperation participated in the meeting.
There were several panels in the meeting. The first one focused on the higher education situation in the two countries. The second panel concentrated on possible opportunities for scientific and research cooperation. Finally, the last panel was about the mobility of professor and student. In the meeting, Dr. Koohyan, deputy of the Center of International Scientific Cooperation, reported a brief situation of higher education in Iran particularly in the middle of the COVISID-19 Pandemic. In following, he highlighted on the professors and Ph.D. students’ exchanges as well as the joint research programs between two countries.
